Case Study: St Barnabas Church

SOLUTION
Sightlines and minimal modification to the building was achieved by using multiple small delay speakers that could be mounted easily and with minimal fixings into the timber. Placing slightly larger speakers and a ground based sub at the front of the room provide the horsepower to function as a multi use system for both music and services.

Choral and performance stage monitoring was achieved by discrete flown speakers facing the onstage performers.

75inch TV screens had to be on cantilever brackets so they could be retracted when not in use. Theres were custom manufactured in house.

BRIEF
Being a heritage building, special care had to be taken to bring the audio visual system into the 21st century without damaging the absolutely stunning detail.

Consideration had to be taken to not mask the beautiful stained glass window. All proposals had to be submitted by the architect and approved by Heritage New Zealand.
